Is there a video capture program out there that will do this? Most of them just capture it to a huge AVI file, and I'm still trying to find a way to compress and encode.

Sounds like something Hollywood would have their lawyers all over like flies to protect royalties, much like the music industry is attempting to do now.

Actually, video capture cards often come with programs that'll do it. They'll often have hardware mpeg encoders, even.

I'm not very familiar with this kinda thing chemist, but this device here looks good to me: USB Instant DVD. I dunno titles for this kinda software offhand.

And stay away from businesses that do this sort of thing as they're often very expensive.
