as i am a Christian, i believe in an afterlife. this afterlife is totally different and separate from our world. however, the bible says that when a person dies, their soul does NOT pass to the afterlife immediately, only after the second coming does anything go to heaven or hell. therefore, if nobody's soul has gone to an afterlife (as Christianity is against the idea of body-soul dualism) how it be communicated with, it is dead on this planet with no conciousness. it would be like talking to a tree. you would not receive a reply, demons, who walk the earth among us, study our actions, so can immitate our voices, particular phrases, and our actions, they can pretend to be other people's ''dead souls'', so that we believe in that kind of afterlife, which is unbiblical, and therefore against God, demons are against God. they want you to be too. that's what i believe.
