I guess we are. The serial killer thing gave it away...

Now what on earth is 'a little light in the loafers'? Could you translate that to German, please?

That means he is frugal when it comes to purchasing shoes.

I'm not sure why I mentioned that. It really has no bearing to the subject at hand.

That's NOT what it means! (I think...)

Anyway, I still like Roger!

Trying to get this back to topic.

Gus really is a bad man, and he is lying to you. "Light in the loafers" is an American expression which means that a man is gay.

Gus, you are a bad man.

Thanks, Setanta. I have never heard that expression before. I'll remember that! Learn a new word everyday.

Roger, are you able to prepare meals for yourself?

Sure. That's the easy part, in fact. I cook standing up, but can't stay on my feet long enough to eat. Sitting hurts.

I started the car for the second time since I got home, and this time I went somewhere. About 50' before turning it over to my co-pilot who took it out for some exercise. Progress is measured in inches and feet, not miles.

Actually, JPB, cooking was a part of my final exam before being released, since I live alone.

I may be part of the mob Roger, but you know the mob is crazy about you as well.

This is how the mob expresses love :-D

No books, lilk. I would have to make a trip to the post office to pick them up, and transportation is a little hit and miss right now.

I called my favorite bookstore (used) earlier this week and asked them to pick out a selection of stuff I might like so I could have someone pick them up for me. They did, and didn't charge a cent. Here, I'm going to pl;ug the best use bookstore in Farmington. that's Amy's Bookcase.

Hurray for Amy's Books!

Roger, do you have a post office box? That would definitely put a crimp in your ability to receive mail, much less books.

We love you too, even that crotchety old cowboy--you can always tell when he says he doesn't like you.

I don't care what any of you say, I like Roger. He's a swell feller and I am thinking of naming our new chair after him.
