My computer has started showing a msvcP71.dll error, I've downloaded the msvcP71.dll file but I'm not sure where to put it. All the programs effected seem to end in 32, any help would be great

C:\WINDOWS\system32 is probably your best bet.

the file is used by a number of programs on my computer, including autocad, adobe, and symantec...

thanks for your reply I've tried that but do I need to place just in the System32 file or the subfiles?

does it say which programs they are?

if it does, try copying the file into all applicable program folders.
