@glitterbag,
Must be. The brand is called Farmhouse Culture.

It’s got live cultures in it with lots of probiotic enzymes.

They also had classic kraut with caraway, garlic dill, turmeric, smoked jalapeño and kimchi.

On their website they show they also have ginger beets and kraut chips.

@chai2,
I make sauerkraut in a crock pot with onions, apples and pork ribs. I started making it that way because I'm the only one in the house who doesn't mind the fragrance. Well, I think it's fragrant, everybody else complains.

@glitterbag,
I think I'm going to give a try to making my own saurkraut from scratch. It seems easy enough.

@chai2,
Send me a note if you plan to make it, I'll tell you what the secret ingredient is and how to layer the ingredients. 😉

Oh I don’t want to make sauerkraut with ribs and apples. I’m talking about making the actual kraut by fermentation for a few weeks. I also saw how to make kimchi, but I’ll have to work up to that. That’s more complicated.

Just had first sip of coffee

@chai2,
we are going to an Amish wedding next Tuesday and the first dish they serve is the "Celery dish", raw, boiled and pickled, and in a soup.
Sign of good luck

@farmerman,
That's have to be a wedding to miss - or to come in late.

Some sort of Fijian pumpkin curry, made by a work colleague for Diwali. Sort of pureed and eaten with flatbread, rather than rice. Fantastic!

I couldn't identify the ingredients (apart from pumpkin), but she'll bring the recipe next week.

@margo,
a cinnamon bun from the Serbian bakery around the corner

I like it as it is cinnamony and not too sugar syrupy
