@vonny,
part of an avocado egg roll from California Pizza Kitchen. I had to stop after one bite, it really didn't agree with me. Threw the remainder out.

@glitterbag,
Hmmm. I knew that company back in the day, ate there a few times at a local place but even back then I was a food snot. I remember them as well regarded, to me, ok. No idea about now.

Well, as you know, keep aware...

@ehBeth,
I didn't have this tonight, but our son brought over some crackers made from dates and almonds and topped them with a slice of goat cheese with a honey drizzle ......... it was delish, I should have had more of that.

An unusual soup soup:

I'd gone ahead after an a2k post or two, and actually bought some liver to try again after all this time, and some common grocery store chorizo.
I put the chorizo in a soup. Eh.
We had kidded about all that.

Today, I soup souped, adding to the remnants fresh green onion clips and some ital sausage clumps, plus quite a bit of previously cooked/frozen pasta. Added some of a saved tabouli concoction.

@ossobucotemp,
Hey OB, California Pizza Kitchen may have been terrific at some point, but now they are everywhere and you never know what you may get. Im still recovering from the pneumonia i had in June and then again in September so Ive not been cooking like I used to. I'm so sick of carry-out and all the terrible slop that passes for food I could scream. Ive exhausted my stock of frozen homemade stuff......I still make an occasional meal but not like I could before the pneumonia. I can't wait until I'm strong enough to get back in the kitchen with vigor. I actually like to cook. Sighhhhhh

Cauliflower and potato and sweet potato bake, sauteed onion and garlic, with coconut milk, turmeric, cumin, cayenne, and chilli flakes, with grated tasty cheese.

@Builder,
Sounds great, or, my kind of cooking.

Recipe, or was that off the cuff?

@ossobucotemp,
My lovely lady has decided she won't be eating flesh any more, so I'm trying out a few dishes off-the-cuff.

That was last night's dinner, and it tastes really good cold this morning as well.
