Saltwater taffy is what I see every time my wife and I go to Sprouts, because they're displayed at the entrance in huge barrels, and I'm always tempted. My strong will is going give way soon.
Sushi we bought at a Japanese market in Cupertino.

@vonny,
fresh made guacamole and my first homemade tortilla chips - the guacamole way better (Haas avocado) than the tortilla chip effort (also my first experience of rubbery tortilla chips, good flavor but very strange).
My wife and I went to Stan's donuts this morning for our coffee. Stan's donuts was awarded "the best donut shop in Silicon Valley in 2013," and it's about a mile from where we live. It was established in 1959, and still going strong. We had the glazed donut (huge) with our coffee.
A slice of ricotta torte (ricotta, eggs, spices, various veggies), this time made without a crust at the bottom and sides of the pie plate. I'll do that again, saves me rolling out dough and tastes just as good.

a one inch square of
talked to hamburgboy about these last night - we used to buy them as a treat once a month when I was little. I could make a tiny bar last weeks, cutting off tiny slivers. I learned how to use sharp knives making chocolate/hazelnut slivers .
