@Rockhead,
If I have stale bread, I toast it and can't tell it is stale (if only just a little bit toasted).

@BillW,
GF bread is kinda funny.

at this point if I toasted it it would become a brick...

I made it into toastlike points. with extry jelly.

@Rockhead,
I never have really had any that I know of. I have had GF cracker and find them different, interesting and good.......

BTW, I don't have any gluten problems - that I know of!

@Dutchy,
G'day Dutchy

Got sent home from work with conjunctivitis. Sad Smile It's bloody lovely in Sydney today. A serious hardship to have to sit in the sun.

@ehBeth,
An orange lozenge followed by lemonade. Sore throat or some sort of sweet and sour?

Try a pickle.

And ice cream.

@ehBeth,
Hard luck, buddy.

Hot lemon and honey (quite soothing)

Plain Robitussin (non-suppressant, expectorant only)

Lots of fluids (water's the best, but not straight from the swamp)

Knew a guy that got in a hot tub, took a dozen or so Dristan tablets and a fifth of Old Grand-Dad. Too much suppressant. He didn't expectorate, nor survive; all that remained, a giant red pickle.

Forget the pickle (ice cream is OK, in moderation, as with most things)

Be happy (without moderation)

@Debacle,
Hmmm...

Well, this morning's breakfast is ricotta torte (kale, spinach, jalapeno, garlic, pink salmon mixed with eggs, ricotta, and jack cheese), and black coffee.

@Dutchy,
we had a late lunch at a nerby "mom food" place. It must have been MORBIDLY OBESE SPECIALS DAY. Every body, save my wife and I, were huge fatties with plates heaped with fried and mashed foodstuffs that could be quickly and copiously consumed . We were gonna ordersalads but, after seeing the many pairs of eyes feeding off my wifes lithe and lovely body, I ordered a bacon double cheeseburger , thus letting them know that we were Sumos in training.
My wife still ordered a sald because she was certain she could outrun em all.
