Dugong. A sea-living mammal that eats sea-grass. Tastes much like pork.
And before you chastise me for killing such a beautiful critter, I was with two indigenous men who prize this creature as a food source, just like a cattleman prizes his horned beasts.
The dugong and the sea turtle are their prime sources of fatty meat, and always have been.
Oh, and I forgot to say, the bones of the dugong are pure ivory. All of the bones, not just the tusks that the older males display. Unique in the world of mammals.
