Sponge toffee? What on the earth and heavens is sponge toffee?! A Canadian thing? I thought that toffee was meant to break one's teeth....

I just washed my dinner bowl. Tonight and for most of the week, I'll be eating home made baked black beans, cooked with Jim Beam whiskey and seasoned with curry and dried red chili pepper seeds.
