The paternal unit's squeeze sent several little bags of Christmas baked goods last week. Most of them very good. This morning, bleary eyed, I opened up a ziploc full of little star-shaped cookies and took one out to munch on while waiting for the coffee to brew. Utterly horrifying. She forgot the sugar, I'm thinking, and maybe used brick dust instead of flour.

I took a good look at the little card attached to the baggie. It's a dog biscuit.
