OMac posted about her being in surgery for the perforation earlyish yesterday and then texted Jes about other/unscheduled surgery later in the day (or that's how it read to me)
I read it as they'd do lung (filling) - not so sure that's a surgery - as a procedure before the big surgery, which took place later.
