Ok Tai Chi, I gotta ask. What is chicken bone candy? I don't believe I have ever heard of that.
From the back of the box:
"Since 1928, Robertson's Candy has been a tradition in Canadian homes at Christmas time. We are proud of the quality and taste of these favourite seasonal treats and are sure you will enjoy our mouthwatering Chicken Bones. A delicious cinnamon coating with a rich chocolate center makes this one of the most popular candies sold."
It is a hard candy with a soft center. They're oblong and pinkish on the outside (very cinnamon-y tasting) with a soft chocolate center (the "marrow"). I loved them as a kid. Mostly I bought them because they're made in a small factory in Truro, Nova Scotia (and I'd hate to see it close like so many others).
