Do you ever have a question suddenly pop in your head - from out of nowhere - for no particular reason? A question that has no significance or impact on your life whatsoever, but it suddenly takes shape in your brain, and you keep wondering what the answer is, until it starts driving you a little nutty?
One of these mysterious questions often occurs to me -- usually while I'm sitting in a meeting.
Like today, for instance. For no apparent reason, I started wondering if there is a list somewhere on this site of the members' usernames.
More importantly, I wondered whose name would be on top of mine -- and under mine -- on that list. Who's on top of me and who's below me? OrÂ…who's in front of me, and who's behind me (if you want to look at it from a vertical viewpoint).
As near as I could figure, Spendius is probably on top of me, and Swimpy is probably under me.
Yep, I think I'm in the middle of a Spendius-Stray Cat-Swimpy sandwich.
And being a typical feline, the curiousity is killing me. Is there any such username list here?
If you know of one, please post or pm me and let me know. Help a kitty out.

Sorry, I don't have a list for you, but I know the popping-question phenomenon!
One very famous question like that, sitting in a restaurant, looking out onto some pipes carrying water down from a lake on a hill:
Do I have to equalise the pressure in my ears if I were to slide down inside these pipes.
Assume it's just a plain pipe open at both ends, having water run through it!
During the dinner, I had to voice the question, and I think I triggered a heated eight hour discussion, that even now (five or six years later) keeps coming up occasionally.
