It seems to me that the believer is already certain of his "truth" before he has begun to look for it. He finds the answer, first, and then he sets out to find his proof. It's not logical.

I think one has to be fairly certain that an absolute exists, that things are only relative to a point. Then it becomes a task of sorting through proposed absolutes.
What do you think are absolutes?
