Image scalling problem

I'm creating a banner for a web site, then I would like to consider the chance of user resizing the web browser, how do I prevent the banner to being scaled? I don't want it to be scaled and looks awful, any tips or tricks on doing this? Thanks.

Typically, the images are not scaled when a browser is resized... so maybe what you are trying to say is that you want them to scale.

If so, try this: http://www.bigbaer.com/css_tutorials/css.scale.image.html.tutorial.htm
