Ford launched a high-definition ad campaign in support of the new Mondeo recently.
The ad - titled Desire - was filmed at a host of London landmarks and shows a number of cars abandoned by their owners floating towards the sky.
Astonishingly, the sight of a car drifting over Piccadilly Circus was not archived through computer trickery - the car really floated above Eros:
The Ford Mondeo, however, is no ordinary car: it's made out of styrofoam by a German special effects company, weights no more than 5 kg and, when filled with helium, can float under it's own weight.
Other cars were made out of carbon fibre, and more than 1,400 balloons were used in the shoot.
