It was, but the German teachers' association is all hung up about this thing they call
Lokalkolorit, which loosely translates to "local flair". In practice, that means wine instead of beer, saltimbocca instead of schnitzel, Italian stuff instead of German staff. Clearly this was unacceptable. It was imperative that a German agent for all-inclusive-travels buy out these Italians and equip their villages with proper culture. So I'm glad they did.
