Are you talking about your sister-in-law again, Phoenix.
It has become quite an obsession for you, and I do think that you
should seek help for that. There can be absolute harmony among
in-laws, you know?

CJ- Don't start that! She has sent my super special private E Mail address out to half the immediate world. I get a headache just thinking about how many people can invade my personal space. Hey, can I have a bite of that pastrami sandwich? Laughing

Considering what he has done for us, that is the LEAST that we can do for him. Over there in Costa Rica, I would bet that not only can't you get a decent pastrami sandwich, I would bet that most of the natives don't even know what pastrami is!

BTW Craven.........................Would that be mild yellow, or spicy brown mustard? Or are you a Gray Poupon sort of guy????

I don't get this thread at all.

I'm going to have a really hard time explaining all that mustard in my computer to Mr. B.

Boomer,
This all started when someone,( I forget who) came here looking for a recipe for Crow Fritters... And then gus got loose and... well, you can imagine.

Will someone please pass the chips ?

No no, I get that. Thing is, it's ironic.

Mounting annoyance? You can't even prove that simply because it IS NOT TRUE.

Hey, finally addressing you is proof enough of my annoyance. It can't have been anything less than a desperate measure.

Oh yeah, I am so clever and use reverse-psychology. That is also NOT TRUE.

Don't worry, nobody believed my false accusation that you'd been clever.

You make it sound like I pm'd you a lot or made a lot of posts towards you. That is also NOT TRUE.

I think this falls under the category of "one is one too much". The rest is just overkill.

Nah, calling your questions dull and vapid doesn't do much for me. But making mild fun of you makes this far more enjoyable. Call it insults if you will but I'm of the opinion that I've done less towards the pejoration of your reputation here than you have.

I edited that post because I felt it was inappropriate.

If I weren't inflicted with the slighted tinge of cynicism I'd seize upon this recognition of impropriety and try to help you extend it to the rest of your exchanges (albeit one-way) with me. But despite my deep faith in humanity I am unable to bring it to bear in this case.

Now that is funny, where exactly do you have a random avatar. You DON'T have an avatar.

Good thing too, cause you've been asking me why I can't "show my face". I'm glad I took it away from you. You didn't take good care of it and now it's gone.

Indeed. More interesting yet is that the significance of this incongruity is entirely lost on you.

My question about your damn phone # had to do with a post YOU MADE in the FORUM HELP SECTION. I was reading the RULES.

Actually it was in the general forum, not that it would have anything to do with "reading the rules" (??!!!???) even if it were in the Forum Help forum.

In any case, call the number, there's a message there for you.

Is this some kind of threat?

It has a familiar ring to it, reminds me of an earlier TTH post, which I'd have to search for, if I felt like it. Oh, yeah, the being paid to spy post....

I think I've seen pastrami here... but they don't eat sandwiches as much and as much as I like a sammy this is something I like about living outside the US.

There's always Quiznos and Subway (they are all over here).

I've never been much of a mustard guy but I think I like the Gray Pupon sorts more (that's the last one I bought and like all other food I buy it either is still sitting unused somewhere or has rotten and been thrown away).

CDK- Quiznos & Subway???? I have always had a picture in my mind of Costa Rica being an unspoiled tropical paradise, filled with restaurants serving the local fare. Next thing you'll tell me that you eat breakfast at McDonald's!

Oh, the shame of it. There go my girlish illusions! Sad

McDonalds, Burger King, KFC, Pizza Hut, Dominoes, and even Taco Bell (and it's EXPENSIVE!!).

Probably my least favorite thing about the food here is that it's too American (don't get me wrong, I love American food for its taste but after a few months feel that something is horribly wrong with the food and crave something SIMPLE! with rice and meat or somesuch). I can walk to a Bagel spot that mimics Starbucks (I like bagels and rarely eat them so I appreciate this one), a Tony Romas, a McDonalds, a Burger King, a KFC or TGI Fridays.

The only restaurant I know that is open 24/7 here is a Dennys (at several times American prices).

American junk-food is everywhere here, and at a markup! Taco Bell is only for the rich, and this is a twisted joke of some sort to me...

Haha, especially after we've seen these huge rats in a NYC Taco Bell.

But I do cringe too when I see a beautiful old European Cafe converted into a Starbucks Sad
