Hmmmm. Spin doctor maybe. How about Secretary of Education? Boy would I shake up things in that position: First, a moratorium on standardized testing. Second, the classroom teacher would run the show.
Third, PAC's not allowed, and the list goes on and on.

Oh, goodness, I forgot about your background. Forgive me. You shall be Secretary of Education.

Now, as to Press Secretary, I am thinking of perhaps Kara ...

Our 'drug czar' has just got to be Dys!

Yes, Cav, of course, Cav, as I explained earlier, that is all up to you...including the gin...because of the very large budget extended to your good office!

Sorry, sweetcomplication. Dys has been nominated for pres. Now, were your candidate to make a credible showing in Arkansas or something like that, there might be a spot for him in the administration.

Too bad about the place of birth requirement, nimh.

Hmm, with all this focus on the Dem ticket this is getting to seem like a one-party state - they think they're in government already, already making up their cabinet!

If Gautam doesnt wanna be Queen, Ebeth would make a beautiful Lady of the Land, too, I think? "You Beth your bottom dollar!"?

Fishin - Ah, yes, I remember. You were the VP candidate then with permission to press the red button. Little K was in charge of entertainment. Someone else was 'Head of the Liquor Cabinet', maybe quinn? And something about a hottub....

Medicinal Reasons ???? What medical reasons ??????????????????? Perhaps all those hoping to pull down a post in this new Admistration should undergo a full no holds barred medical exam with Dr. Ruth.

Well, good grief, SweetC. Thank God we're back on track. The disorganization here rivals the chad business that created havoc and put King George in office.

What is the slate so far?

Um-hmm. A tad presumptuous. I shall dispatch a toady to leak this criticism to a non-left leaning paper, if we can find one.

Press Release:
Dem candidate extends cabinet positions, as if. Stereotypes respectable long-haired associate with Drug Czar quip. Uses term 'foreigner'.

I can only hope the presence of sozobe on the ticket isn't enough by itself to raise the Dem ship to steaming standards! It could be. And from Letty's job goals, it seems education under the Dems may be a good thing. I would like to see her take a broom to the Teacher's union. Very Happy

If you guys really want a Queen then you need to rent a State Coach with all the bells and whistles, horses and footmen, such HRH Queen uses..... I'm sure the Disney Mob could help out.

Now I found my job: captain on the Queen's yacht.

(Any vote for that is worth two invitations to the captain's dinner!)

Oh! I'm confirmed and everything. Ahem.

Letty SO has my vote for Education ANYTHING. Agreed agreed agreed with what she has said so far.

PDiddie and his first lady seem to have a psychic connection. That can only be good. I'm pretty sure.

And Sofia is doing a bang-up job of meshing criticism with toadying -- a few more comments like that and I'll be her "unnamed high-ranking Democrat" source for all kindsa dirt. Very Happy

Typical:

The Democrats are in full gear campaign. They are already giving cabinet posts. There's always a chance they'll run out of gas in the end.
The Republicans, after deciding who gets to go fishing, are starting their attacks.
And the Greens and Libertarians are not seen or heard of. Perhaps they are trying to raise funds, somewhere.

Meanwhile, monarchy threatens to rise in the horizon.

Please note nimh-- A real politician.
He has deftly side-stepped his nomination, and stroked me to the point, I'd forgotten it too... <Boy, that felt scrumptious, Mr. President.>

I would rip the party in two, cause rioting in the streets and be assassinated. I would attack the intolerants in my own party, before turning my attention to others.

I'm out.

I am mounting the Gus/puppet for the ever wise and balanced /nimh campaign. We have worked through the pesky birth country business. The very reasons you gave for not running, nimh, are the very reasons you SHOULD!!!

DRAFT NIMH

Ssshhht ... cant you see i'm already doing all the behind-the-scenes work? Just see how i got the Royalist campaign running on a headstart! They aint talking about nothing else by now ... i captured the agenda. And just in case that fails, i "confirmed" sozobe into being the president-for-after-this-one. So there ..
