Nice one.
Can't beat having a big monitor.
I went from an Iiyama 17" panel to a Dell 24" and it's so much better !
The only problem I've had is that when I have games at the 1920x1200 resolution my graphics card sometimes chokes a bit on the extra data shuffling required.
For normal desktop work with Photoshop, Sound Forge, Logic, web design, Bryce etc... it is absolutely fantastic.

I was afraid of the 24". Thought it would be just too overwhelming. Is it totally wonderful?

It is totally wonderful.
There's no way I'd ever go back to something smaller.
In work my screen is only a 19" and it's shocking just how much less you can get done on a smaller panel.

It came today. And it is beautiful. But now I wish I'd gone for the 24". Or the 27"! Rolling Eyes

Nah. I'm not giving into myself like that. I'll keep it for awhile and upgrade later.

I have had a 19" flat screen for a few years now. Thing is, I keep my computer resolution at 800X600. It is easier for me to see it that way. I would suppose that a larger screen would be advantageous to me.

I was in the mall yesterday, and saw one of the Dell big widescreens. I have to admit that I wiped a bit of drool off my face!

Very happy with my new toy. One thing tho, I don't like how the screen goes dark for a few seconds every now and then . Don't know if it's refreshing itself or what and there's no harm but, it's a curiosity that I never experienced with my Apple monitor. Confused
