The Sox and Yanks always make good conversation, but has anyone noticed that Cleveland actually has a baseball team this year?

what? Shocked there are other teams?

the indians and tigers look to be evenly matched in the central.
the twins are struggling.

the angels looked awful when they were here last month, but they appear to be the best of the west.

who's good in the NL besides the mets?
the brewers have cooled off.
the d-backs are hot right now...

I haven't had the opportunity to see any games yet this year - only highlights. Hope that changes by August or so.

jd drew rediscovered his stroke last night -- that sounds dirty but it ain't -- with 2 dingers and 7 ribbies.

cy beckett is 9-0, and the lads lead is back up to double-digits.

tonight 'zaka-san gets his first major league at-bats, against big ol' randy...

wake pitched a gem (8 innings, 4 hits, 1 run, only 1 walk, 3 K's).
pap locked up the win in the 9th with his best fastball of the year.

the spanks are red-hot (7 straight) and 9.5 games back.

tonight the Schill is on the hill...

bats are only necessary when the pitching sucks (see Schilling, Curt).

tonight i predict Cy (9-0) Beckett will right the ship... not that the ship needs righting per se... YET...

Over the past 7 games or so, 5 out of the 9 have batted .200 or less. Or something like that.
