I've always loved red shoes.
When I first started working, I bought a pair of red shoes with my first real pay packet. My mother was horrified - apparently only prostitutes wear red shoes. I wonder if the Pope knows that.
I still love red shoes - but I'm reminded of my mother every time I put them on! A sort of guilty pleasure!
