I've played pick-up b-ball for 6 hours.

I was really, really tired.

I hiked up a mountain for 4 hours.

I was really, really tired. And then I had to hike down.

Test cricket can last for five days.

And it's televised, and people watch the whole match.

Four hours is nothing.

My legs tell me that my tennis matches have lasted at least 4 hours.

My watch, however, apparently lies!

Still don't get good results, though!

Yes, but they are paid to do it.

Nope. They stand in the sun for days on end, for the love of their country. Rolling Eyes

Quote:
Before Hussain retired in May at the age of 36, the former England captain was estimated to be making about £500,000 ($A1.23 million) from the national team - on top of undisclosed endorsement income.

With greater exposure on television, more revenue from the sale of TV rights, and sponsorship deals, dozens of cricketers are millionaires.

India's Sachin Tendulkar, 31, makes at least $US5 million ($A6.7 million) a year under a contract with the sports marketing company WorldTel, according to the Times of India.

in '98 i played 4 games of ultimate frisbee in about 8 hours, with rest in between.

it was sunny all day, and got up to about 85°.

i chugged a lot of gatorade that day, and it took me about a week to fully recover...

In 2000, I played 8 ball for five days straight.

Beat the incumbent champ four out of seven frames.

Frisbee will do that to you every time. There should be a warning on the disc.
