What the hell is up with you cj?

You really seem to be on a bender trying to piss people off.

I don't care who you are or what you think that photo is absofuckingloutely disgusting.

I thought you tried to make people understand that hunting was not a terrible thing to do. That photo just undid everything you have ever said about hunting being a "good" thing.

Really, man, get a grip.

I have often read your posts to get a perspective different from my own. Although we disagree I had respect for your opinions and I enjoyed debating points with you.

But honestly, right now, all I can think is that "Jesus hates you for this."

This being equating his ressurection with some dog gnawing on a rabbit head.

I am really disappointed that you would post something like this.

I wanted you to know who reported this thread -- it was me -- I hope they delete it.

Apparently you've never owned a dog (or a cat). Get outside more often.

"Apparently" you're wrong. I've owned many dogs and cats over the course of my life.

I learned this neat little trick: feed them and train them.

I can't imagine what led you to think posting this photo was a good idea.

He's not a hunting dog because he loves to play frisbee.

I think it's a beautiful picture.

Every dog I ever knew loved to kill/collect/roll in stuff. It's their nature. To deny it is to raise a foot warmer.

My cousin had a dachsund that would bring home bunnies, raccoons, deer legs... he loved to go fishing with us. He'd bark at the fish from the bow of the boat. Every so often we'd toss him a bluegill...and he'd eat the head off of it. After an hour of barking the bow of the boat would be littered with decapitated fish.

Beautiful.

how would you feel about a photo of a severed black lab's head in the mouth of a larger predator, say a lion?

A dog is part of your pack, with you as the pack leader. Training and discipline doesnt harm the dogs "nature" it rather, "directs" the dogs nature. Having a hunting dog that tears up game is wanton killing and not what youre supposed to stand for cj. Im beginning to think (from this and other posts) that youre not as much of a sportsman as you put on.

I have a catahoula who comes from a kennel noted for raisng these dogs as feral hog hunters. They will track and corner a hog until the owners come and "harvest" the hog. Ive taken this breed and turned them into very acceptable sheep herding dogs because, unlike a border collie, they dont wear out in the heat.

Now, did you kill the rabbit and decap it and let the dog play with it? Thats not great hunting training since this is primarily a duck and upland bird dog. You want the dog to have a "soft" mouth. So if youre not making a useless foot warmer. whats yer point in not training this dog?

Not my dog, just a cute picture.

How do you know the dog simply didn't find the bunny head?

Posted by a "sportsman" perhaps the picture is some sort of obscure in-cult porn?

I wasn't meant as bait but it appears to be working. I'll have to remember this.

No...

Just making a point. The crap that liberals make us put with every day, from burning soldiers in effigy to "art" that involves **** and urine, is acceptable, while a dog holding what he considers a treasure is not.
