Hi Deshwit,

Check the link out below. I think the tips mentioned therein can be a good resource for beginners.

Your link doesn't work.

Good preparation for any form of writing is to read that form of writing. Read memoirs. Read autobiographies. Read biographies.

During all this reading, practice writing. Write e-mails. Write on discussion boards. Write old-fashioned letters. Get used to examining your daily life for interesting, typical material and getting it down on paper (or the computer screen).

Don't start with the idea of creating a memoir by June. Jot down a moment, organize moments into a single segment....

Good luck.

Very true...

another thing to keep in mind while writing is to make sure that you have proper continuety and...don't just talk about yourself(although it's a memoir)...try to add other people's opinions on particular matters(if it is reasonable to do so!)...this normally makes for an interesting read...

Steps
Its all about what you really want to do. What kind of story you're looking to write. If its a more upbeat then chose a life experience that you feel conveys that and that the readers can most connect with. Then write it out as you remember it. The best part is that exageration is something that is almost nesecary for it's true that most stories on real life are boring. Spice it up a bit with more details, that don't have to be exactly true, but keep the real meaning of the story. Smile Good luck!
