http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paralympic_Games

Quote:
The Paralympic Games are an elite multi-sport event for athletes with physical disabilities. This includes mobility disabilities, amputees, visual disabilities and those with cerebral palsy. The Paralympic Games are held every four years, following the Olympic Games, and are governed by the International Paralympic Committee (IPC). (The Paralympic Games are sometimes confused with the Special Olympics, which are only for people with intellectual disabilities.)

The Paralympic Games ROCK!!!

I am a huge fan. HUGE. Smile You should check them out next time around.

The Paralympic Games features top-notch athletes. They are the best of the best.....with one little 'problem'.
The problem being that some slight or large difference (a.k.a. disability) keeps them out of the Olympic Games.

I suggest you google up The Paralympic Games and the Special Olympics. Look at the websites. It's all right there.

And both could use support and fans. Both are great watching!
