Ah, Misti. Love your quotes as usual. Cool Did you see on the news where a dog survived for three weeks without food or water, trapped beneath the floor of a new construction? Shocked She was rescued and is doing nicely. Without food, I can imagine; without water, hard to picture. She might have lead a dog's life for a few weeks, but no longer. Instead of "human interest" we might call this "dog interest". Laughing

Oh give me a home, where the doggies can roam
Where the cats and the rabbits can play,
Where seldom is heard, a discouraging word
And the skies are not cloudy all day.

Home, home on the Range;
Where the dogs and the puppies can play;
Where seldom is heard, a discouraging word,
And the skies are not cloudy all day.

Prepare to cry, John.

When I was a lad and old Shep was a pup.
Through fields and valley's we'd stray.
Just a boy and his dog, we were both full of fun,
We grew up together that way.

I remember the time at the old swimmin' hole,
When I would have drowned without doubt.
Old Shep was right there, to the rescue he came.
He jumped in and helped pull me out.

Now the years rolled around, and at last he grew old.
His eyesight was fast growin' dim.
And one day the doctor looked at him and said,
"I can't do no more for him, Jim"

(Silly letty can't type the rest of this song that made her cry as a child, cause I'm crying right now.)

GOOD GRIEF
