Demanding an accounting?

Does anyone know what is the particular statute/law/etc. that allows a co-trustee (or even beneficiary) to demand an accounting of the trust?

For some reason, I'm having a difficult time finding the details on this one.

For what it's worth, this is NY jurisdiction.

Thanks!

An accounting is an equitable action. That's probably why you're having trouble finding it in the statutes.

I think I found it.

Estates, Powers and Trusts Law (EPTL), part 2 ("Rules Governing Trustees"), section 7-2.7 ("Accounting by trustee in supreme court").

That was WAY too much a pain in the ass to find. Mad
