Yes. The UK press thought the referss did a poor job. And he ran away after the game.
I imagine a few Aussie fingernails were bitten down near the end. Still, glad to have given youse a close match.

Yes - a bloody close match - and fingernails were bitten down.

It gets worse from here. First the Argies - always a challenge.

If we win that, (and we should, but...) then likely the All Blacks. We've beaten them once this year, but they were below their best. Their game against France was amazing, almost a massacre - although Richie McCaw did get penalised once for offside - now that was unusual, not his being offside, that's almost a constant, but a referee actually penalising him.

Finger crossed for the semi-finals. Perhaps the Sefricans can clobber them. But the AB's have been the number one team all year Sad or for the past 4 years.

V&A Museum turns down Margaret Thatcher wardrobe
Source: BBC

The Victoria and Albert Museum in London has turned down the chance to exhibit former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher's clothes.

Lady Thatcher's family offered the contents of her wardrobe to the V&A.

But the gallery said it collected items of "outstanding aesthetic or technical quality" rather than garments with "social historical value".

More than 300 items will now be sold at auction next month instead. Lady Thatcher died two and a half years ago.

The Tory press in the UK is predictably up in arms about this. Which is unnecessary on their part. I very much doubt that Margaret Thatcher brought her clothes with the intention of them ending up in the V&A Museum (which is well worth a visit when in London)

@bobsal u1553115,

An outstanding opportunity for vandalism has been lost.

I think the All Blacks would probably have beaten the Jocks too, so no hard feelings. Until next time.

Great win for Salford City Reds in the FA Cup tonight. Bring on the draw for the next round. Chelsea?

Today, it has been 10 years since the government changed drinking laws in England and Wales to allow pubs to serve alcohol 24 hours a day.

And now all Britons, especially Scots, have something else to drink to. Almost singlehandedly, Andy Murray has carried Britain to its first Davis Cup title in almost 80 years. Pretty incredible, when you consider Henman and Rusedski couldn't do it working together.

@Kolyo,
The crowd did go mental. Personally I'm more concerned about the League Cup clash against the Scousers tomorrow night.

He has no friends in the LTA after today's pronouncements.

They seem to be a total shower of numpties.
