What I find interesting is that Wellington’s army was European:
36 percent were British (English, Irish, Welsh and Scottish),
27 percent were Hannoverians,
13 percent were Dutch,
10 percent were Nassauers,
8 percent were Brunswickers,
6 percent were ‘Belgian’ (Walloons and Flemings).

@Lordyaswas,
Further news.....
'Burka-clad white man' is arrested after police detonate suspect package in Watford town centre
So her Madge and the Chookyembra are going to visit their relatives in Germany, starting in Berlin.
It's nice that families stick together. They set such a nice example.
Most of Europe's monarchies are descended from just a couple of families, notably (especially here) the German noble families of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg and Saxe-Coburg-Gotha.

British company to build 'hoverbikes' for US Army
British company Malloy Aeronautics has struck a deal with the US Department of Defense to develop and build the first truly functional "hoverbike" in the United States.
The hoverbike began its life as a Kickstarter project. Malloy, which had already built and tested a one-third scale prototype drone, raised £64,089 in August 2014 to develop a full-size flying motobike that could be ridden by a human.
The hoverbike is built to do many of the same jobs as a helicopter, but without the problems inherent with helicopter design. It is cheaper, more rugged and easier to use, according to Malloy, and can be flown safely at low altitudes.
Malloy has now joined forces with SURVICE, an engineering firm that has been providing research and development support for the US Department of Defense for more than 30 years, to develop the vehicle in the US state of Maryland.
SURVICE believes that the hoverbike, which can be flown unmanned or manned, could one day be used to transport military troops and supplies over difficult terrain, and could also operate as a surveillance platform.
The engineers claim the hoverbike's low cost and practical size also make it suitable for operations such as search and rescue missions, first-responder emergency services, and cargo insertion into confined spaces.
Yes, he's floating.......and tethered down to stop him flying off....
