@Walter Hinteler,
Pleased at half time. Just hope we can keep the lead and not make any more silly mistakes.

@Walter Hinteler,
It wasn't bad luck Walt. It was not being happy with one point.

@spendius,
Actually, all first half's three goals were ... well, avoidable, even for a Southern Football or Isthmian League Division One team.

@Walter Hinteler,

Tim Sherwood's got Spurs popping along nicely now. I like him.

@McTag,
The Classico was good stuff eh Mac. 400 million viewers they said.

@spendius,

Didn't see it unfortunately. Maybe a repeat or highlights will be shown later, I'll look out for that.
I've fallen out with my friend who has Sky, and pubs are noisy, smelly places where you might get too much beer.

@spendius,

Our football teams used to deal with fancy-dan foreigners by just kicking them up in the air.
Kind of like gunboat diplomacy, settle them down a bit.
Not like the good old days, now.

Oh--I don't know about that Mac.

The England cricket captain complained about the umpires allowing play to continue with lightning flashing in the distance and when the storm got overhead and play was stopped a large number of native ground staff were out in the middle getting the covers on so that the pitch didn't get wet.

He was fined half his match fee. It should have been all of it.

@spendius,

Come on you Super Blues. We need the points, they'd be wasted at United.

I'm not a soccer expert but I've always wondered why the annual 'Home Internationals Tournament' was cancelled?
Every year, the English/Scottish/Welsh/Northern Irish teams used to play each other in it and it was quite popular, but the soccer big bosses decided to cancel it.
I think I remember they used the excuse that "Scottish supporters used to trash Wembley and London every time they came down"

@Romeo Fabulini,
At last something we agree on. They should be reinstated. Don't use the S word, it's football.

Fi'ba in Glasgow.

How many more weeks has Moyes got, do you think?
Three more lovely points going to Eastlands.

Agreed, but under Fergie they did so much better.
