A fascinating series of interactive maps from the 2011 census in the UK... well almost, they kind of missed one big chunk.

@Walter Hinteler,
Thanks, Walter.
Nothing to do with climbing onto the beasts, then.
I'm relieved to learn that.

@McTag,
"Steig" actually meant any footpath (today only used when referring to mountain-footpaths), from the original German/Germanic word from "walking".

The other "steigen" ('climbing') has Latin origin

@Walter Hinteler,

Thanks, Walter. Ask, and it shall be given you, as the Good Book says.

Hey, anyone seen Russel Brand talking to Paxo on Newsnight?

@McTag,

I see the referee for the first Rugby League tournament match is carrying a Specsavers advertisment on his back.

Imaginative placement.

I did Mac. I referred to it on another thread.

@spendius,

Following on from that, Russell Brand was given a whole page in The Guardian yesterday to expand on his philosophies, which read excellently, in fact a bit like Spendy in full flow.

I commend it to your attention.

@McTag,
It wouldn't play for me Mac. I had to reboot.

If you will copy and paste it I would be grateful.

I can't say I agreed with RB in the interview with JP. It was all a bit too easy.

I don't vote either.

Hitler bombs London to try to cut the milk supply lines to prevent citizens making cups of tea. He fails miserably but an outraged England declares war on him-

I would, but it's rather long. The best way to get at it is probably to go onto the Guardian website and search "Russell Brand".
It's item #2. Or maybe #1.

Also ditto ditto BBC, search under Russell Brand and Hugo Boss, hilarious.

@spendius,

How hard can it be? You just type the name into the Search box.

@Ticomaya,
Thanks Tico.

Quite beguiling I thought. A load of bollocks actually.

I can see Brahms and Schubert, but I don't see how Liszt comes into play.

@InfraBlue,
That's because you are not an intellectual like Mac is.
