Perhaps he has chapped lips and has run out of Vaseline.

Where was this incident?

This is nothing but a smokescreen from Gus, 'spendi', he's been looking for you everywhere and wants you to know he is still around.

It was over on the "British Men! - Let Us Go Down!" thread.

I feel a little embarrassed that I even clicked on that thread. Morbid curiosity, I guess.

As long as he's not around any parts of me I think I can avoid getting overexcited.

You are right to be deeply ashamed of yourself Gus for clicking on a thread with such a disgraceful and misogynistic title.

Mathos sent me a pm, asking about spendius, something about the size of his appendage, and I politely told him that I had no knowledge of such matters and, frankly, no interest.

Mathos grumbled and said something about "I bet Walter Hinteler will help me in this matter"

At that point I shrugged my shoulders and said, "Whatever"

Replying to the pm is a bit suspicious I would have thought.

I see the senile Yank from across the pond is floating again!

Dirty little bastard isn't he though, must have been raised in one of those
Ozark Mountain huts, without knowing kin from neighbour.

Be careful Spendi he likes you. Rolling Eyes

Hey Smorgie! How was the Marc Almond concert? I don't know about him....isn't he one of these 1980s glam rockers or romantics who wears garish makeup?

Not my cup of tea, but I expect that's a relief to hear. Rolling Eyes Shocked Cool Laughing

I think this might explain a lot.

This is a definite sign that Gus is interested in spendi. The question has a wistful quality, as if he is hoping spendi is a farm animal. Smile

Don't even try to go there.

I was reading recently about the film "Zoo".

There are evidently more things in heaven and earth......

Why repeat how I have described myself in my member profile which was the first thing I ever posted.

I was actually mostly formed as an intellectual entity, if Freud is to be believed, in close proximity to the whole range of farm animals. Perhaps such an upbringing does give one a certain slant on life.

I remember once at the County Show the Gold Rosette going to a big white cow with very large milk dispensers (the money factor being uppermost in the judge's mind, as ever) and during the presentation ceremony the cow decided to make water. And very close to the Lady Member's stand. If you have never observed a cow making water you might not understand why there was a good deal of feet shuffling and rooting in handbags.

Some animal had inserted the presentation ceremony in between two displays of floral arrangement demonstrations and had obviously given the cow a lot to drink.

I read that city people think that milk comes from the supermarket and that grass is a leisure facility.

1980's and garish make up, yes but I would say the music he did with Soft Cell was more new wave / electronic than glam rock or new romantic.

I saw Soft Cell a few years ago at The Academy, they were fantastic. Marc Almond has a great voice.

Hope you enjoyed it smorgs. xxx

It was my last day of college yesterday and it was actually quite sad. The younger girls on my course irritated me at first but I had grown to like them a lot (once I got past thinking they just had a bad attitude). Things were never dull and I will miss it.

End of an era an' all that.

How's things with the British peoples then?

Best wishes on your future endeavors, dp. Congrats on completing this phase.

thank you JPB

I think of these people as talentless vapid narcissistic non-musicians, but I must be wrong since they make so much money and since so many people like them. Morrissey? Bowie? What's that all about?
Mind you, I don't care for Shirley Bassey much either.

Ricky Gervaise was on Desert Island Discs, strange that, and his choice of music ranged from the Sex Pistols to Jimmy Webb.
Mad, or what? Celebrity is wasted on celebrities.

No offence.

I'm with you Dorothy and hope you enjoyed the show Smorgsi, Marc Almond is brilliant in my book.

As for Tweedle Dum below you, I don't know what the name of his problem is, I bet I couldn't spell it either!
