@McTag,

Does anyone else here watch Damages, the crime series with Glenn Close?

It's really very good.

This means you, Smorgs. Have you seen it?

And can you use A2K properly at home yet?

Spendy was right. Hitler loved Blackpool.

And why not, indeed.

Eeeh, my giddy aunt!

So sorry Herr Muckty...

No I haven't seen it - but I have heard about it.

When I was on my recent hiatus from A2K, I watched ALL The Soprano's on DVD. I absolutely loved it! Best thing I've ever seen on the telly.

@smorgs,

Okay smorgs it is, Miss Smorgs.

I see there's a promising TV series starting on Thursday, called Red Riding.

A crime series apparently, dark ard quirky, and one of the bent detectives, according the The Guardian, details his favourite pastime as "chewing minge". For some reason this made me think of Spendy.

That means YOU Mr McTag!

I am able to provide a translation of 'chewing minge' for you Tico. The Scots are well known for prudishness, unlike Northern pink chubbies.

I wonder why you thought of spends? Gives him extra kudos as far as I'm concerned.

I could go further in this post, but I shall exercise some self restraint - but it's not easy, I tell thee.

@smorgs,
spendi has chewed so much minge that he had to go to an opticians to have his eyeballs realigned. Some applicants have demanded nothing else.

Okay I went to see the Scottish play at the Exchange tonight and if the Evening News don't praise it to the skies, they should.
It was marvellous, a really good production.

@spendius,

Spandy, you seem to be a bit selective in your appreciation of the arts.

@spendius,

Not a, but the Scottish play.

It's Shakespeare. I think he qualifies.

@McTag,
MacDither you mean. Okay-that's art. I can't imagine lady civil servants playing the witches though. Was it not a bit pretentious?

I prefer outsider art - like my doodles.

I don't understand Shakespeare, I've no grounding in it (we've been here before). I did no Shakespeare in the convent (true). I don't know why they don't talk proper, and no car chases!

My life is a cultural desert...

Anyway, I was eating a pastie yesterday, and completely forgot I was on a diet! No really, made a big hoo-ha about being on a diet, and then went to the shop and got a pastie! I was halfway through me (veg) pastie when Eunice walked past and said "thought you were on a diet, you fat bastard", "oh ****", said I, "I forgot!". So I ate a vanilla slice as well - best not to waste it in the present economic climate.

This from a lover of grand opera?

The witches were played by children in this production, btw, not by lady civil servants.

I think the critics will be impressed.
