I'm sorry to hear that you are under stress smorgsie.

The experts reckon that it isn't good for you.

You should curl up on the sofa with some choc-chocs and a good book and allow the swirling chaos to just swirl.

Flat pack furniture is specifically designed to expand those services which specialise in treating stress related conditions. I'm beginning to think everything else is as well.

No. My son said it would be good, then the paper preview said it wasn't good.

I like Donald Sutherland, maybe I'll try to catch up with it on the replays.

I enjoyed a documentary mainly about John Ruskin last week, on the Civilisation series. Excellent. Ruskin in Venice and later, Turner, William Morris, French impressionism.

From the paper yesterday:

According to a formula set in AD325, Easter Sunday is always the first Sunday after the first full moon after the spring equinox.
The earliest Easter can be is 22 March, and the latest is 25 April.
Easter will not fall as early as this again for 220 years.

So there.

In 2160, our papers said, it's again like this year.
And in 2285 it will be even a day earlier.

But may be the 16% fall of the Pound within half a year against the Euro effected that difference, - or the left-hand traffic.

Yes Mac--but what was it you enjoyed. As it is you are posing as a well-read civilised intellectual just by dropping names out of couch-potatoing.

And,ye others, what's so special about today that you all hope I enjoy it?

What about next Thursday. Do you not hope I enjoy that.

Why do you hope I enjoy anything? What's it to you? Wire me £50. I'll enjoy that. There's another 60 million Brits. What are you doing about their enjoyment? There are people in the gutter out there while you sit around exchanging pleasantries.

Turn it up. It just goes on and on. From one Bank Holiday to the next. Repetitive Brain Syndrome. It's meaningless. "Have a nice day". Squawking.

Yes Spendi - I would hope you enjoy next Thursday too.

There is a world of people out there in the gutter and others suffering in their own way. Exchanging pleasantries on a forum will not make "their" real world a better place - but you also don't need to be in a gutter to be suffering! Communicating good wishes to others, perhaps, makes life a little more bearable for the people who wish to do it, and perhaps one day makes the person who receives the well intentioned wishes, feel as tho they are worth good wishes.

Squawk away. I bid you good day.

Beautiful weather in Totnes! Sitting in the sunny porch I had to peel off several clothes - just had a celebratory roast duck. How's West Devon?

OOOOOOOOhhh - glad your side of the moors is seeing the sun. It's VERY cold here, hailing and windy - however, the sun does keep peeking through which is good.

Enjoy your day Clary. Smile

That's more like the Brits I know and have known.

How long can you stand pleasantries? They are isolating. Inhuman. The dance of the sugar plum fairies.

And just look how fragile they are. One poke and Mac shows the real thing.

Shame on you Mac. We hadn't known you are only Mr Nice-guy if your tummy was being tickled.

You make my case. It's a surface thing after all.
