Hang on Queenie.

Mathos and I are mature men. Maybe one or two of the others are.

You might not be quite ready for a bunch of mature men hanging out in your studio.

Beware of taking the young lads as a guide.

You don't want to "exhaust the realm of the possible" at such a tender age. It would leave nothing left to go for.

In today's Guradian there's a good report about the return of cider:

I'm having a fascinating email discussion with my Arsenal-supporting friends about the relative merits of David Dein vs The Rest of the Board.

My money is on Dein to return with American backing and Arsene and his boys to be given an extra bundle of cash and confidence.

It's the only reasonable way in which we can compete with Man U, Chelsea and Liverpool, given their current owners.

Steve

As an aside, I greatly admire your efforts to argue the case for fewer guns in the US on the Virginia Tech thread.

As fishin' said, it's a completely different view of the world that some of our American cousins have! Rolling Eyes

I think it more likely that Mourinho will find the relationship with Abramovich intolerable (or vice versa) and that "the special one" will be the next manager of Man U.

Roy Keane, say the Men In The Pub.

He is the next-to-be-anointed one at Old Trafford.

I wouldn't bet against it.

I tend to lean favourably towards that suggestion, god help the players though if they cock up, he will be knocking three bells out of them

I don't think they really trust their government to have a monopoly on firearms Steve. And I think they might be the best judge of that. Warts and all.

Living under our government is probably a lot different from living under theirs. One might not notice that on a flying visit though undertaken at great expense, and aggravation to those trying to get to sleep under the flightpaths, for the purpose of broadening the mind.
