With the greatest of pleasure.

Happy birthday to Clary, who has taken the sensible measure of spending the colder months in warmer places.

Hey where's Smorgs? Has she succumbed to the flu?

I'm off soon to take our kid to get his train.

I notice this is the second day of Eid. Good luck to the followers of the Prophet, peace be upon him.

Where I am, it's the FIRST day of Eid. But I assume each country has its Moon Committee who have to see the new moon, so maybe we had a cloudy night. We didn't though. It hasn't rained since I arrived on 21st November.

I started off writing "this is the first day of Eid..." and as was so doing, the man in a BBC news report said "this is the second day of the Hadj..." and so I thought I'd change it. Sorry if I got it wrong. Peace be upon you anyway.

Well, given that yesterday was declared a DRY day, even though it wasn't yet Eid, it must have ranked as fairly holy, so perhaps qualifies as the first day.

a little late but good luck to mathos

I will read the book

are film rights still up for grabs?

Good afternoon Clary. And Merry Christmas to you! Or happy Eid/Hadj if you prefer.

Talking of film rights, I think it should be Clary and her world wide roams that deserve a movie.
