Jimmy Armfield said an interesting thing on the radio this morning. He said "First, we should find out why the likes of Paul Scholes and Jamie Carragher don't want to play for England."

He's on the short list.

I just realized how absolutely futile it was asking for recommendations for a decent coach on the British thread.

Just had a cycle ride, finished it off in the rain (again). fitness is pretty good but the clock is going very quickly. I disappear in three weeks. Just thought I'd let you know that!

You can check out two of the places I will be visiting if you want to Google!

Umphang Hill Resort to spend some time around the Tee Lor Su
{or Thilawsu} waterfall. This must be Thailands most beautiful waterfall and there are numerous to pick from. I think it is rated the sixth largest in the world.

Then there is the Elephant Lodge in Luang Prabang {Laos} looks like fun.

Take care of yourselves, I know I'm going to be busy from now to departure so probably will not be on A2k again.

Catch you in April 2008.

Take care Spendi, you **** for brains tosser!

Had my hair cut after work.

Very nice it looks too, even if I do say so meself.

Had a long, graduated bob. I think it looks very sixties.

So what's going on with you lot?

Thanks, smorgs - though those lurex lederhosen ... well, perhaps I make a lot of new acquaintances wearing them.

I wash my hair everynight. No soap.

I never read Hello because I know what it's all about and I don't like roundabouts.

I would embrace feminism if I knew a woman who also did.

I do watch bits of Cranford and I'm quite surprised you are avoiding discussing my analysis of the piano scene. I think you like it out of a deep yearning for patriarchy, which your "bonnet" remark alluded to, if only to take you away from all this.

And I understand folks selling hamburgers going around shouting "Have a hamburger".
