Lulu and The Zombies. Truly, Smorgs, you do think the most unusual thoughts.

I was playing "Saturday Night's All Right" on my guitar, and singing it, badly.

Thanks for my lunch, muckty...

I'll buy next time as long as it's a bag of chips, though I could run to a pickled onion if it's pay day.

Why shucks, ma'am, you're more than welcome.

I made a wooden handle for the inside of my newly-fixed garage door this morning (no I didn't make a bolt for the door, that joke's older than I am) and I fitted it after lunch.
So am feeling quite nice. Thanks for turning out to lunch, Smorgs. Most pleasant.

Hey Michael Palin's New Europe TV programme, the episode on Poland, is repeated tonight on BBC4 at eight o'clock.

Smorgs wanted to see it.

I'll be in the pub. But I've seen it already.

Yes, I have a car...

...and?

It's an aubergine vauxall corsa.

That's about as much as I know. I never know my reg, don't how much it does to the gallon, don't know what litre it is... nowt! It's gets me to Tesco and work, that's all I care about.

I also have 6 points on my licence - 3 that the Welsh gave me (bastards), and 3 from the temporary road-works that used to be at The Trafford Centre, which I managed to get (much to my chagrin) the day before they removed them.

I know how to spell chauffeur, it was one off the 'hard to spell' words knuckle-dustered into me by sadistic, lesbian nuns at the convent.

They are penalty points for being too bloody gorgeous to be on the road btw.

Well, that's my story.

If I would invite you for lunch, smorgs, if I come over, you would choose the same or similar?

A colonial here. I just caught a few episodes of Torchwood on BBC America (its a cable station on our menu). Is this a new , or relatively old show in UK? Its pretty good .

Top Gear is good too. Its a cross between Monster GArage and PBS's Click and Clack

Torchwood is (relativly) new. I think it started in 2006. Perhaps earlier in Britain.

Top gear is a must see on my calender. If you can find the episode where they tested a caravan its worth watching.

I wanna see em test tractors.

Egg butty. Hold the mayo.

I had curry at Malu's today, with Cliff my chum. Malu supports Bolton Wanderers. Gary Megson to replace Little Sam, we hear.

I think Jeremy Clarkson (Top Gear) should be dragged round the airfield behind one of his Maseratis.

By the gonads.

Zweimal Bratwurst aus Thueringer Art? Mit Senf? Gluehwein dazu?

Won't be long till the Xmas continental markets are here....they go home about a fortnight before Xmas.
