You don't like it when it's raining, then?

I'm having trouble with my connection, Muckty. I've requested a new modem.

I still think she looks sexy though, nowt wrong with a bit of flesh to get hold of. Women's bottoms SHOULD jiggle, it's when they 'thrum' you've got to start watching your Kit-Kat/pastie intake.

Well Francis, good morning by the way, I did offer to tell about those but nobody expressed any interest and Smorgie said don't.

So I didn't.

A nod's as good as a wink, as they say.

Kettler? Tell me about 'em Stevie boy, are they any good?
What do you know about the Koga, if anything?

Bikes in general seem to be really taking off again, I was talking to a chap at the gym tonight who has just spent over £3K on a mountain bike. He still has to pedal it though.

Did you pedal the full 45 miles on your fold up? If so how long did that take you and over what kind of terrain?

It's good to know you are getting better. Spendi might feel glad about that, he has this strange if not somewhat peculiar habit of feeling glad, it seems a bloody strange way to feel according to our Wilf's mother!

This is my Kettler

http://www.kettler.co.uk/productDetails.aspx?showSpan5=block&purchaceable=Y&prodCode=KF738932&GROUP1=AB&GROUP2=AB2

and this the Brompton

http://www.bromptonbicycle.co.uk/index.cfm?fuseaction=bikerange.mtype

I neighbour of mine is a mad cyclist. Saw him whizzing down the shops on his Brompton and I thought I'd get one. Its very useful, can take it on trains and all tubes even planes. Also sling it in the back of the car without fuss. But it gave me the taste for cycling and I bought a "proper" bike the Sentiero...which means trackway or path in some foreign tongue, no doubt Spendius will elaborate. They are only availiable in UK mail order, but they give you 28 days to try it and if you dont like, will arrange collection (delivery and collection free). So you cant say fairer than that. The kettler is well made and rides well. Oversized al frame is beautifully welded (by a computer apparantly, I'd like to see this one weld aluminium) and very stiff also light of course. 24 derailleur gears take a bit of getting used to but the best thing is the ride, nice easy rider upright position. Ideal tourer.

Can well believe your mate spending £3k on a mountain bike, carbon composite materials etc dont come cheap. Bikes have improved tremendously since I was a kid.

The Brompton is a work of art in how it folds. Its very well built but expensive. When I ordered there was awaiting list! The factory in Brentford cant make em quick enough.

Anyhoo I'm not an agent for Kettler nor Brompton. Sorry dont know anything about Koga.

Hey Doowop, what are you planning to build? Don't forget it gets cold, wet and dark in November.

There's a doowop programme on BBC radio this week, check it out, vintage American vocal harmony groups of the 50s and 60s. Details on request, it'll be good.

The house is all but built, McTag, but the planning officer and one of his lads apparently had to take a measurement of the height, following a complaint from a neighbour who said it had exceeded the height as stated on the plans. They turned up just before midday and used a laser tape, which showed it was four inches shorter than the plan. They then stayed around for a free bacon butty before going to tell the neighbour the bad news. We were all sweating for a while, mind.
Hopefully, all work from here on in will be indoors. We're running about four weeks over schedule as it is, due to the wet weather this year. Saying that, rain has stopped play today so the final bits on the outside will have to wait until tomorrow.

Which station is that prog on, McTag? Radio 2? Probably Mark Lamarr. Thanks, I'll go check it out.

Sorry can't but it's very simular to this:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NICE-PEUGEOT-24-5-FRAME-TOURING-GENTS-BIKE-CYCLE-LOOK_W0QQitemZ330173843795QQihZ014QQcategoryZ33503QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

My old colleague Jimmy used to say "simular" and I've kind of adopted it as a mark of respect.
