Impressive young lady?

I bet she wore a skin tight pastel coloured garment.

You should see me climbing out of bed in the morning, 'specially if I need a wee...

Now THAT'S impressive!

Nowt like tits a-jigglin' in an old wynciette.

You've got your Diana the Huntress, and your Gaia the Earth Goddess.

Both are important, yes, but Gaia more so in the wider scheme of things.

How can I measure 14 fluid oz, or 400 mls without a measuring jug?

About how much is it?

It's four-fifths of a half litre (measured by bottle or glass, which you might have handy) or, some wine glasses have their volume inscribed on them...especially those liberated from licenced premises.

If you pour it on a tiled floor it makes a puddle about the size of a dartboard but not as round.

I recon this thread would be a good place to ask brits some questions regarding education in Britain.

I am 17 years old and I'm thinking I'll study something in the line of chemistry or biochemistry (thinking of becoming a doctor so I recon that would be relevant) and I need some advice on what collages are the most reputable on these subjects. And how difficult is to enroll in, say, Oxford or Cambridge?

I'm from Norway and the government pays for all expenses (and then some) so money isn't a major issue. I'm thinking 08/09 (1 year).

Manchester is the most popular university in the U.K. A degree from Manchester ranks with Cambridge and Oxford. Here's a link for you:

No problem. We welcome students with such high qualifications. They should be able to fit you in anywhere if you stress the (and then some) in your application. Coursework would be optional of course.

No, in Manchester there are plenty of people who don't know about football.
They are called ManU fans.

Haha, it was just a side note. In retrospect I can see how smug I was.

There were some interviews with City fans on TV today. One said

"Yeah, we should win, but we always struggle against clubs from the bottom half of the table."

Yes--but, it let the cat out of the bag. Your Government has a policy. Now a policy has an underlying energy source within any nation never mind a "socialist paradise". And when it is funded with taxpayer's money it is self evidently in the interest of the government which has it and in no one else's.

It would be interesting to speculate on the nature of the energy source.

As you can see on this page you are correct to eschew an inordinate interest in football as it causes an inabilty to see lights off in the darkness and thus renders one into the general state of a sitting duck.

Do they believe in "free love" in your socialist paradise?

What? Energy source? How the hell did you go from Government policy to 'free love'? I read you post 5 times and completely fail to see what your point is and how that correlates to 'free love'.

CW-

Five times is obviously not enough.

How do you see a policy developing without an energy source? I hope you don't think that your Government is going to send you to an English university out of the goodness of its heart.

My question about a socialist paradise embracing "free love" was a separate matter. I wondered if it was politically incorrect in Norway to take a fancy to a bloke because he had the most money.
