Yes. I quite like Lulu. The sheer belting energy of it. And those eyes. Scared me to death she did.

Ever heard that "scattered in the wild wind" sung smorgsie?

What a song BDB is. It's better than most movies.

I've got a top notch writer's fast version of the story of Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. I'll put it on sometime. Stand by your beds.

That Russ Meyer eh?

Faster Pussycat, kill Kill.

I remember seeing Lulu when she was playing roung Glasgow venues as a Brenda Lee type act as Lulu and the Luvvers.

She was good then, too. Wee, and loud.

spendius and PQ - 2 peas in a borin' pod....

I don't give a **** what you're opinion of Prince is. I've never trusted anybody who doesn't appreciate his genius. Go back to listening to Dido or whatever.

and obviously spendius finds it very hard to ignore me.

Where on earth did you get a daft idea like that from. I don't know two words from any of her songs. I've seen her and I like her energy and personality. That's not being a fan.

And I've never heard of Dido.

I should think that will somewhat limit your capacity for making friends.

Well- you are on the Brit thread and that gives people in other countries a slight picture of what Brits are like and I hardly think the impression you create is in the national interest.

And if I got in a pod with Queenie I don't think I would find it in the least boring and especially if it was one of those broad bean pods with the furry insides.

Do you like Elton John and George Michael and Graham Norton then?

How about Liberace?

Actually, despite her being a woman, I find Cilla hard to take but Helen Shapiro was a bit of alright. I hope she still is. I couldn't even name one song of either.

I prefer the opera divas really. Especially the ones with a large chest capacities.

Elisabeth Schwarzkopf/ Fiorenza Cossoto/Leoine Rysanek type of thing. They can hold their breath for ages.

Have we all kissed and made up yet?

Elton John, Dido, Liberace, Prince and Maria Callas are all wonderful to those who like them.

There, feel better now?
Or, can we find something worthwhile to fall out about?

You're welcome.

mwah! mwah!

Eevenin' all!

Remember when they shot Dixon of Cock Green?

It was a yoot what did it...

Not much has changed.

I've entered the MEN comp to go and see The Temptations and The Four Tops in November, you can come with me Dorothy, there is no doubt that Prince got soul, but he MUST pay homage to those that went before him, and indeed he does...

have you noticed the echos of My Girl in Sexy Muthafocker?

Re: all the above.

Smorgs is like a bus (not the back end before anyone starts), I don't post for ages, then post three at once.
