Why Oxie it's nice to see someone knows a bit about our history....yes them would be gold mines Red...my gramps and his gramps worked in them mines most of their lives....my other gramps own a logging business up there....since the trees were so plentiful Laughing

Just found out that I've got to go up to New York again tomorrow.

My Granfather Corbin Died in a mine shaft cave in. My father was there as well and got out just before it colapsed on his dad. But thois was in Idaho. And it was coal not Gold!! Crying or Very sad

Taking the train to Penn Station and then I'll grab a cab to the jobsite.

That is an inherent problem working in any mine...you took a risk.. you either benifited from or ya didn't...we lost a few family members that way.

Driving is so much more fun and you get to see the worlds worst drivers
while on location of just about any east coast town. Boston has New Jersey beat by a mile, no stop signs and no speed limit, not to mention that thier car's are not equiped with turn signals. Shocked Laughing :wink:

The real fun begins when you offer to drive your buddy up and pick up his brothers car for him. Of course he won't tell you that theres no brake lights untill you get there, and you need to follow him out of the city cause he knows where he's going and you don't. This was the one time I had suicide written on the front of my car. Laughing

Anytime I go into any major city I'll take a cab or subway. If the local drivers don't get you the cost of parking will. Laughing
