Well I caught 9 trout in the first hour and 15 minutes, and it's a good thing to because I went to Canada at 2 hours past opening day. I kept my 5 and returned the rest!! Laughing

I have to go to the spring creeks over in Missouri to fish trout (about 200 miles one-way). They have the same set-up ... a hatchery right on the premises and they release daily. I've seen 10+ pounders cruising the stream, but they didn't get that big by being dumb. Laughing

They're usually spooked most of the time due to the number of fisherman working the stream, but occassionally someone is in the right place, at the right time, with the right bait. Laughing

Last big one I saw caught (about a 7 1/2 lb Brown) the guy was right next to me. I saw the fish swim by twice and go under the bridge, but it wouldn't even look at my nymph (flyfishing only section). When the guy hauled him in I noticed that he used a nitecrawler ... major foul! Mad
