TTH your right about the start always soft on the green this will always assure a good start!! Stomping the pedal will result in lost time and we both know this is a no no in drag competion! Smile

Well, I am still learning so I do the best I can. I don't go on the green, then I am late. I have to go on the...... I can't give away secrets. Cool

Fish yuk, sorry (I like to fish, I just don't eat it. I let them go). Very Happy

Puget sound salmon capital I doubt that. Alaska maybe- the Bering Sea-or is that just crap.

Hey Red ... I don't use ultralight to be sporting. In gin-clear waters most of the big boys spook with any line over 4lb test. The King hit when I was set up for the smaller Sockeye Salmon. My point is that if you know what you're doing and have patience, you don't need to match the line to the fish.

Nope ... have fished for Salmon off the Oregon and Washington coasts, but that one was on the Little Susitna River ... about 100 miles north of Anchorage, AK.

I do believe I understood your point, but thanks for the hot tip!!
And yes TTH Cambell River British Columbia is considered the Salmon capitol of the World, If BOB HOPE was still around he would tell you this! Laughing I personaly like the salmon smoked with alder wood. The best eating fish is Walleye or crappie, maybe even sea trout or as it's known here weak fish. Laughing
