Any advice on good programs to use to convert and or create files in PDF format.
We tend to use microsoft office, word, excell, publisher, and powerpoint.
but want to convert sometimes to PDF.
do you have any reccomnedation for freeware programs.
I usually use a program called "Fineprint" but the freeware version does add a URL to their WWW site to the bottom of every page.
I use PDFSuite995.
http://www.software995.com/
It's adware - slight delay to print a document, but I only do a few documents a week. I think you can also pay to disable the ads.
Good info....
I'll check into this later.
I hate hate hate pdf.
Actually, on microsofts website, there is an add-on for office that lets you save documents as PDF's. Free download...

Well I wont try that again!!!!!
I went
here
and tried to download one of these programs. Soon realised they are only suitable for office 2007 but in the process of discovering this (have a look at the program name next time you idiot he said to himself) I messed up my office program, I ran repair office from the disk which told me I was missing SKU111.cab in folder MSO. which I found had been renamed sku111.xml. Anyhow to cut a long story short I had to eventually unstall and reinstall office then came the saga of trying to update the reinstallation............
I discovered
Google docs and spreadsheets I can paste (ctrlV) word docs created on my system and save as PDF back to my machine. Havn't tried to paste MSpublisher yet or excell I shall play a little and see how it goes
pdf factory is the best..
