I installed Call Of Duty 2 and then tried to play it but a Fatal Error popped up and said that my driver doesnt support alpha blending...helpp


I have a Sony Vaio Laptop

Sad I guess you figured out your problem elsewhere through other means, sorry I couldn't drop in sooner. Just in case or if others run across this, the problem involves your graphics card.

Two obvious solutions (there may be more) spring to mind but be aware, this is quite a critical error of sorts (it's likely more a technology problem rather than just a bug). Either you simply need to download the latest updates for your graphics card OR, unfortunately to say in this case, it's more likely, your laptop's graphics simply don't support this technology.

This means you'll need a more up to date graphics card, consult your motherboard manual to check if this is possible. The very latest laptops push the latest desktop PC's all the way in gaming, you just need to be careful on checking specs. Older laptops will simply hit a brick wall at a certain point due to new graphics tech, it's not just a matter of speed.
