If so, who? And why?
(3) RIGHT SPEECH: Right speech means abstaining from false speech, slander, harsh or hurtful language, and idle chatter.
No!
Several years ago I decided that people worth to be hated, aren't really worth the effort!
Just peas.
Oh, and hominy and spiders.
People, no.
Grandpa used to say "Now, squinney, hate is a mighty strong word. Are you sure you hate peas?"
"Yes, Grandpa. I strongly hate peas."
But, I would never dream of saying that I hate a person or any living thing other than those named above. Hate is a very strong word, and it only hurts the hater.

I agree.Theres someone that I could say I hate but hating takes so much effort, just not wasting time thinking about them is a much better thing to do.
Hating someone or something gives it power over you. It is too strong an emotion to waste on something negative in one's life.
As they said in that very old song, "Accentuate the Positive"!
Hate is such a strong word, used a lot by racists and bigots and fanatics of our world. Hating someone saps your strength and clouds your reasoning.
.
We are here only a short time and should concentrate on pleasure. Hating is a waste of time.
.
It is amazing how much hate is produced by the various religions in the world.
I hate to admit it and I won't specify but there are a couple of people in this world that I hate. Shame on me.
Peas however are fabulous. I love 'em. I hate that squinney hates 'em. I love squinney though so it's a wash.
I'm with the Bear on this one.
I do not "hate" very often...but I certainly have had feelings about people and things (situations) that can only be expressed as hate.
I HATE what has happened to our country during the last several decades...and even more particularly, what has happened to it during the last six.
I hate acts of ignorance, greed and selfishness.
Whenever I see such actions this feeling brews in me, and the impulse to just end them brutally, (the actions, not those acting) gets stronger.
Of course this is irrational. I have no power to do such a thing, yet the feeling is there every once in a while.

I wouldn't say I hate anyone. However there are a few people I've come across in life that I strongly dislike. However, as was said, they aren't worth the effort of hating. There are things I hate though. Though thats probably a wasted effort as well. It's not like hating it actually changes it. Just keeps me away.
lol hate is my friend....
kidding... only kidding...
That would work..
Hate is my friend, and I don't like to burden my friends, so I just let him rest and leave him alone.
Lucky for me my friend is such a lazy ass.
hehehe... yup... lucky for you. Mine is too... fancy that!
Just keep feeding him milk and cookies. Don't leave him wanting, or he might decide to get up and start dancing...
Yep. I have a stash set aside just for him! He's very fat and happy. No need to move from his spot indeed! Now... if I could only convince fear to join him I'd be all set! Fear doesn't like milk and cookies though. Hmmm...
hehe... just kiddin...

Yep. I'd say there are some really rotten things in the world which are worthy of this kind of reflection. I think we'd be automatons if we didn't feel some kind of rage at what's going on in the world. I guess it's a matter of how the anger is contained or chanelled.
If I am capable of love then hate is lurking somewhere in the shadows.
