Well, I do not know that what I wrote in the initial post is a fact. It is merely an idea I felt like posting.

But in a way, we are the internal organs of some larger entity. But that is also an abstract consideration, and I would not take it literally.

Interesting topic. This is much like the Hindu answer for the meaning of life: to come to understand Brahman, the essence of the universe.
